OH CRAP --- NOT AGAIN??

The chances are slim, but if you looking at the current position of Tropical Storm Rita, she is only 100 miles or so south of where Katrina was when she first reared her ugly head.

The current 5-day track has Rita smacking the Texas coast south of Galveston next weekend, but there is a possibility that New Orleans could be the final destination. Even if it misses a direct hit, it will generate another tidal surge that could yet again overwhelm the levees.

Let's hope not . . .
