DON'T SAY IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE

I heard someone on TV last night, talking about the UK's home-grown terrorists. He said we are much more safe here because we have stronger intelligence gathering capability than the Brits, who appear to have little intelligence on what's happening in their mosques.

Or really?

Then how would you explain the so-called "Columbine killings?" Two disaffected, teenage suicide terrorists decided to see how many of their fellow classmates and teachers they could kill. Their goal was to kill 500 -- they failed in that goal, but still killed 15, including themselves.

How is that different from what happened in London? Because their motivations were different?
There are hundreds, maybe thousands of American kids who are susceptible to this sort of brainwashing. They don't even have to be Muslims.
