The name of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is something few would disagree with. Anyone who owns a pet is automatically sympathetic to the idea that animals should be treated with dignity and care and never mistreated.

However, PETA is now being "uncovered." It appears that they really aren't what they say. While many of us provide financial support to "rescue" organizations that adopt unwanted pets that face the possibility of euthanasia, PETA appears to embrace euthanasia to a degree that exceeds the average shelter.

So, as this post asks, is PETA all about saving animals? Or is it all about raising money to support political activism? You decide.
