IT ISN'T JUST A "SMOKESTACK" INDUSTRY PROBLEM

The cost of doing business "up North" continues to be a problem.

Locally, the NASA research center in Cleveland lost a contract that will result in 500 new jobs being created in Mississippi rather than Ohio.

Everyone involved claims it had nothing to do with politics but was purely and simply a case of the Mississippi contractors being the low bidders. I believe them. After all, if it was pure politics, Ohio would've gotten the contract as a "thank you" from the Bush administration.

This will continue to happen due to northern cities being more expensive and less accomodating to business.
