LIKE A BULLET THROUGH THE EYE OF A NEEDLE

Except the needle is 75,000 miles away. That's the magnitude of the accoomplishment NASA celebrated yesterday when the Cassini spacecraft entered orbit around Saturn (which is, at its closest point to Earth, about 750 million miles out there).

PS At the speed of light, it takes about an hour and 7 minutes for light to travel from the Earth to Saturn.
