FLAG ON THE PLAY

With all the other problems kicking around these days, you'd think that the Senate Majority Leader (Bill Frist) would have better things to do. But no-o-o.

On ABC yesterday, he advocated a Constitutional amendment to prohibit gay marraiges.

The Republicans already have the religious right nailed down. Why say this? It isn't a major issue and can only divert attention from issues that are really important.

I'm a little ticked that folks in Washington aren't more focused on fixing the Mid East, fixing some of the still-remaining domestic economy issues, and generally staying out of the business of interfering with people's personal lives. I voted for Bush -- not Pat Robertson.
