DAVID WARREN ON THE SITUATION IN IRAN

I've said many kind things about David Warren. His piece on Iran today is another gem.

He makes the point that Iran is the "example". It's the theocracy the Islamic idealists can point to that has been in existence the longest. But it's crumbling from within. No external threat, this time (unless you consider the fact we could have 100,000 US troops in Tehran in about 48 hours), but a threat from different idealists -- the Iranian students.

The ayatollahs must have their panties in a bunch.

But David points to all the others who might have their panties in a bunch as well -- terrorists, Syria, the North Koreans and, yes, France.

Lets hope the students give them all a wedgie, and soon.
